Nars Blush, Contour & Lip Palette - Review & Swatches

Hi Everyone!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may know that I recently picked up Nars’ Blush, Contour & Lip Palette. I thought I’d share my thoughts with you whilst the palette is available in case it was something you were interested in purchasing.

Top: Lipgloss in Istria
L to R: Enrapture Blusher, Enthralled Blusher, Roman Holiday Blusher

Enrapture Blush is described as a pink terracotta. I found this product to be quite powdery, nothing like Nars’ normal quality. The blusher is still good, don’t get me wrong, but it kicks up product & I’ve never had that with a Nars product before.

Enrapture blusher & Istria Lipglodd

Enthralled Blush is described as a toasted rose with shimmer. This blusher is of Nars’ usual high quality. Don’t be fooled by the flecks of glitter in the pan, these don’t transfer onto the face! Instead, the blusher gives a soft, naturally warm tone to the cheeks.

Enthralled Blush & Istria Lipgloss

Roman Holiday Blush is described as a pastel with the most delicate hint of pink. This is a beautiful blusher, another high quality blusher from Nars. This colour is   gorgeous & reminiscent of Bobbi Brown's Nude Pink & Benefit's Hervana blush.

L to R: Albartos Highlighting Blush & Laguna Bronzer

Albatros Highlighting Blush is described as a luminous glow. I have not tried Albatros before but have heard a lot about it. I found the quality to be very good, but the colour is a definite gold. This is a product I will need to apply with a duo-fibre brush to avoid picking up too much product. Not a problem though as it means it will take longer to use up!

Albatross Highlighting Blusher & Laguna Bronzer

Laguna Bronzer is described as a diffused brown with golden shimmer. I love this bronzer! I have a review of it as a contour here. It also works really beautifully as a bronzer. I found it to be of Nars' usual high quality, though it was less easy to use than in the standard pan. Saying this, it was not a difficulty to use from the smaller pan.

Laguna Bronzer

The mini Lipgloss in Istria is describes as a pink glacé. Whilst this lipgloss is a light pink, it isn’t milky – something I find difficult to work with & pull off. There are flecks of shimmer in this lipgloss that are visible on the lips. This doesn’t look glittery, instead adding to the shine of the gloss as the flecks catch the light.

The palette comes in the same format as the Laser Cut Eyes, Lips & Cheeks Palette that was released at Christmas. Other than the design on the lid of the packaging, the only difference being that instead of three eye shadows, you have three blushers & where in the Christmas palette you had one blusher, you have a highlighter is in its place.

Here are the two palettes side by side…

The Blush, Contour & Lip Palette is £35 & exclusive to Space.NK.

Have you used any of the products in this palette?
What are your thoughts on them?
Would you invest in this palette?

It's beautiful Heather, I'm so glad I picked it up! I'm not as much a fan of the mirrored lid, but that's because of my photosensitivity! Xx
